Business Segment Overview

Corporate: Engage in a deep variety of business-critical activities that keep our company running efficiently. From strategic marketing and financial management to human resources and operational oversight, you’ll have the opportunity to optimize processes and implement game-changing policies.

Position Purpose: We are looking to recruit a Program Manager to lead delivery across our Funding and Payments portfolio, based out of our Pune, India office. The successful candidate will have previous experience leading complex, large-scale technical program deliveries spanning multiple geographies, business units and platforms, ideally across client funding, cash management and payments.

Working closely with the EPMO, Payments and Treasury leadership, Product, Technology, Operations and third-party providers, you will drive delivery of a strategic, multi-year portfolio of funding and payments initiatives. This includes the Funding as a Service (FaaS) program, which brings client funding, cash management, and ACH authorization and entitlements to commercial, introducing broker and newly integrated client bases, alongside Global Payments initiatives such as real-time payment (RTP) currencies through correspondent banks, a payment status and tracking engine, cross-currency accounts and operations automation. Much of the payments development capacity sits in India, so you will play a central role in keeping those teams aligned to firm-wide priorities. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging and collaborative working environment and who is results-driven.

Responsibilities

Primary duties will include:

Driving overall delivery of a strategic program of work across Funding and Payments. Your role is to define the different stages of implementation and ensure they are met. Your main roles and responsibilities will be as follows, but are not limited to:

  • Work with Payments, Treasury, Product, commercial teams and senior stakeholders to identify program scope and objectives across the funding and payments lifecycle – client funding, payment initiation, authorization, routing, execution, confirmation, reconciliation and reporting
  • Work with delivery teams and solution architects to build out agreed scope, define requirements and build robust plans for delivery across payment channels and rails, including ACH, wires/SWIFT, real-time payments and correspondent banking
  • Define the projects and features that make up the program, bringing consensus to the most efficient way to deliver value to the organization as quickly as possible
  • Monitor and assess program performance, overseeing delivery of the projects and features that make up the program, ensuring completion on time, to scope and within budget
  • Take overall responsibility for ensuring everyone on the program is clear on what needs to happen, when it needs to happen by, how it is going to happen and who by
  • Identify, track and monitor dependencies across shared payments development teams, dependent programs (such as CRM, client onboarding and trading platform launches) and downstream Operations and Treasury teams
  • Coordinate delivery across internal teams, correspondent and partner banks, payment service providers and other third-party vendors, ensuring alignment of business, operational and technology outcomes
  • Secure resource commitment and hold teams to account, applying the firm’s portfolio prioritization framework to resolve competing demands on shared development capacity quickly and transparently
  • Identify high-level risks and issues and track them through to resolution, escalating promptly to sponsors where priority or resourcing conflicts put milestones at risk
  • Partner with Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Technology to ensure regulatory and control requirements, such as payment authorization, entitlements and audit trails, are embedded in delivery
  • Own program financials: report spend to date (hrs and $) against budget, forecast to completion, and raise change and funding requests when scope or dependencies shift
  • Clearly, concisely and accurately communicate program progress, RAG status, risks and decisions at regular intervals to sponsors, working groups and steering committees across the US, UK and Europe
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, delivery teams, vendors and EPMO team members, acting as the EPMO’s on-the-ground delivery lead in Pune
  • Identify, address and resolve differences between individuals and/or interest groups
