Responsibilities

Position Purpose: We’re looking for a motivated Associate Video Editor with a passion for storytelling and a strong interest in both video and audio content. This role will support editing across podcasts, interviews, roundtables, and multicamera productions, alongside more creative, narrative-led projects. You’ll work closely with producers and the wider creative team to shape content from raw material, learning how to pace edits, build engaging stories, and adapt content across platforms while maintaining brand consistency.

Primary duties will include:

  • Edit podcast and video content. Assist in editing both video and audio podcasts, as well as interviews, roundtables, and multicam productions. Support syncing, cutting, and structuring conversations into clear, engaging edits.

  • Support creative storytelling. Work with producers to help shape narratives, structure edits, and develop more creative storytelling approaches across brand and editorial content.

  • Assist with motion graphics. Create and apply basic 2D motion graphics, titles, and captions using After Effects and Premiere Pro to support content.

  • Prepare content for multiple platforms. Format and export videos for platforms such as YouTube, LinkedIn, Meta, and X, ensuring correct aspect ratios, captions, and required end-frames.

  • Handle multicam workflows. Support editing of multicamera setups, including syncing footage, selecting angles, and maintaining visual continuity across longer discussions.

  • Support post-production finishing. Assist with color correction, basic grading, and audio clean-up, including levelling dialogue and preparing podcast-ready audio.

  • Manage workload and deadlines. Organise tasks effectively and deliver work on time with guidance from senior editors and producers.

  • Stay up to date with trends. Keep up with podcast, social, and video content trends to help inform edits and build creative confidence.
