Responsibilities

Job purpose: The Financial Operations Associate supports day-to-day client financial transactions and operational processes. This role focuses on executing core Financial Operations workflows, adhering to internal controls, and supporting a high-quality client experience. 

 

Responsibitlities:

  • Process routine Financial Operations cases accurately and timely in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Support customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other paymentrelated activities. 
  • Facilitate inbound and outbound payments (e.g., wire transfers, credit cards, echecks, checks) using approved systems and tools. 
  • Learn and utilize various banking platforms and internal systems to support treasury and client funds management operations. 
  • Escalate processing issues, exceptions, or potential risks to Team Leaders or SMEs promptly. 
  • Follow established controls to help mitigate operational, financial, and compliance risks. 
  • Partner with Sales, Client Services, AML, and Compliance teams as needed to support  
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, efficiency, and client experience. 
  • Support internal projects, adhoc tasks, or initiatives as assigned by management. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional language skills (Polish/Japanese) are welcome but not essential.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in a highvolume operational environment. 
  • Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks. 
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and timemanagement skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a teamoriented, servicefocused environment. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Customerservice mindset with a willingness to learn Financial Operations and Global Banking. 
  • Prior operational, backoffice, treasury, or customer service experience is a plus. 
  • Computer proficiency in a Microsoft Windows environment. 

 

Working environment

  • 4 days in the office, 1 day at home.
  • Typical workday: from 7:30/8:00 to 15:30/16:00 (sometimes, flexibility in schedule is required based on business needs) 
  • Work on public holidays (up to approximately 5 days per year), with a day off in lieu provided for each holiday worked.
