Job purpose: The Websites & Platform Product Manager is responsible for driving the ongoing evolution and performance of StoneX Retail websites, ensuring they deliver measurable value to customers and the business.
Building on the successful implementation of Kontent.ai and Uniform.dev as our headless platform, the role focuses on completing the migration of websites, fully leveraging platform capabilities, and continuously improving digital experiences to drive engagement, conversion, and revenue growth.
The role owns both the customer-facing product experience and defined areas of the underlying platform, ensuring strong alignment between business goals, user needs, and technical delivery. This includes advancing core web performance, enhancing customer journeys, and enabling internal teams through scalable, efficient platform capabilities.
As the product lead for Retail websites, this role works cross-functionally with Engineering, UX, Marketing, SEO, and Operations to prioritise initiatives, deliver high-quality outcomes, and maximise the impact of the platform investment.
Primary duties will include:
Product Management & Experience Outcomes
- Partner with the Head of Product and stakeholders to define and manage a goal-oriented roadmap for StoneX Retail websites, aligned to business priorities and customer needs
- Lead discovery activities to identify opportunities to improve or introduce website features and functionality, working with stakeholders across the business, UX, Marketing, and data analytics
- Define Epics with clear value hypotheses and measurable success criteria
- Develop and align lightweight business cases for new features, ensuring clear agreement on desirability, feasibility, and value with stakeholders across the business, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and UX
- Maintain a prioritised product backlog of Epics, ensuring alignment with agreed goals and visibility across stakeholders
Platform & Capability Outcomes
- Own defined areas of the headless CMS and page composition platform, ensuring it supports scalable, reliable, and cost-effective digital experiences
- Support the migration of websites to the new headless platform, identifying capability gaps, defining MVP scope, and shaping future iterations
- Collaborate with Engineering, UX, Marketing, Web Operations, and third-party vendors to deliver platform enhancements and migration milestones
- Drive adoption of platform capabilities across internal teams, ensuring solutions meet operational needs and improve efficiency
- Identify and prioritise internal user pain points to improve usability and productivity of the platform
- Define and maintain a platform capability roadmap aligned to product goals and broader business priorities
- Ensure all platform capabilities are well documented, understood, and adopted through training, demos, and ongoing support
- Monitor internal user satisfaction and drive continuous improvement of platform experience
Delivery, Alignment & Ways of Working
- Own and prioritise a unified Epic backlog aligned to quarterly objectives across both product and platform initiatives
- Collaborate with business, engineering, UX, marketing, and operational stakeholders to define solutions that balance user needs, business value, technical, and operational considerations
- Work closely with Agile delivery teams to ensure Epics are well-defined, broken-down, refined, and delivered effectively
- Manage dependencies across teams (e.g. SEO, UX, Copy, Data Analytics) to ensure smooth and coordinated delivery
- Plan and coordinate delivery to meet agreed timelines, including contributing to quarterly and sprint-level planning
- Own the successful launch of new websites, features, and platform capabilities, ensuring readiness across all stakeholders
- Monitor live performance and proactively address issues impacting users or business outcomes
- Evaluate delivery against defined success metrics, communicating results and recommending next steps
- Support continuous improvement across team ways of working and the end-to-end delivery lifecycle
- Ensure all websites and platform capabilities meet legal, regulatory, and non-functional requirements (e.g. accessibility, performance, security)
- Apply Lean and Agile product management practices, including experimentation, MVP delivery, and iterative improvement
