We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst who will be responsible for Data Analysis and Trade Controls, with strong proficiency in database queries. This role is essential to maintaining the integrity of the company’s operations within the physical commodities sector.

Estamos buscando um profissional para apoiar a execução de Análise de Dados e Controles de Trade, com fortes habilidades em consultas a bancos de dados, Power BI e Excel. O candidato selecionado será responsável por desenvolver e manter dashboards conectados aos nossos sistemas de banco de dados e planilhas.
Além disso, o candidato será responsável por gerenciar validações envolvendo logística, execução, faturamento e processos financeiros relacionados às diferentes etapas do ciclo de negociação, além de impulsionar melhorias em processos e procedimentos.
We are looking for a professional to support the execution of Data Analysis and Trade
Controls, with strong skills in database querying, Power BI, and Excel. The selected
candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining dashboards connected to our
database systems and spreadsheets. These dashboards will provide real-time updates on
KPIs, risk mitigation, trade tracking, and overall performance.
In addition, the candidate will manage validations across logistics, execution, invoicing,
and financial processes related to the various stages of the trading lifecycle, while also
driving improvements in processes and procedures, including continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
• Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI and Excel to monitor KPIs and risk
management metrics.
• Execute database queries to extract and analyze data from multiple systems.
• Collaborate with the risk management team to identify and mitigate risks in the
physical coffee and cotton trading businesses.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reports and dashboards.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision
making.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and
deliver solutions.
• Validate daily trades and ensure all related processes are followed accurately.
• Manage validations related to logistics, execution, invoicing, and financial
processes across the trading lifecycle.

• Proficiency in database queries (SQL or similar).
• Excellent Power BI and Excel skills (intermediate/advanced level).
• Knowledge of Python (desirable).
• Experience in dashboard development and KPI management.
• Familiarity with risk mitigation in the commodities trading sector.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and
commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with at least advanced English
proficiency for both spoken and written communication.
• Innovative mindset and adaptability to new technologies and methodologies.
• Commitment to deadlines and delivery of high-quality work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
