This is a manager role with direct reports within the Global Market Data Department at StoneX. Engineering Manager will work closely with business and engineers to expand market data distribution offering across the global enterprise. Engineering Manager will work with internal customers, business owners, product owners and operations team to help integrate various market data sources into global enterprise data and execute delivery from Pune office.

• Partner with Engineering, product management, business owners, product owners to deliver high quality, timely, cost effective and reliable market data solutions.
• Analyze and develop workflow solutions to improve and optimize overall market data usage.
• Strong focus on ownership and delivery.
• Provide status updates on assigned work to management and, when required, act as a project manager on projects.
• Manage, develop and grow the team, perform annual review, coach and guide the direct reports .
• Strong focus on improving quality of delivery and market data assets.
• Work closely with in-house team as well as external vendors to translate requirements into the most effective design.
• Problem management skills to handle incidents and issues and resolve production issues.
• Strong focus on leveraging emerging technologies like generative AI for improving productivity
• Run support and delivery from StoneX Pune India office.

• 8+ years of hands on Data Engineering or Software Development experience in capital markets / trading industry or relevant financial industry.
• 5+ years in leading and mentoring a highly qualified technical team.
• Knowledge of financial industry and working knowledge of security master, pricing and real-time data processing and distribution within Market Data.
• Lead of team of 6 to 10 people, comprising of engineers and QA team members at various seniority level.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Python, SQL and cloud technologies.
• Experience with databricks desired.
• Works well in fast paced environment.
• Able to work with teams located across multiple timezones.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required, and master’s degree is preferred.
