Responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our technology team. This role is ideal for recent graduates who want hands-on experience in software development and modern technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining applications
  • Write clean, basic code under guidance of senior engineers
  • Fix simple bugs and support ongoing projects
  • Participate in code reviews and team meetings
  • Learn and follow software development best practices

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Completed a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferably Computer Science major)
  • 0-2 years of work experience (This is an entry level position) 
  • Basic knowledge of programming (Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript)
  • Understanding of OOP concepts
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL basics preferred)
  • Willingness to learn and take feedback
  • Must be authorized to work in Columbia for any employer

Good to Have

  • Knowledge of Git or any version control tool
  • Exposure to web development or APIs

Working environment:

  • Hybrid - 4 days in-office at Bogota office & the flexibility of working from home 1 day a week
