Business Segment Overview:

 

Commercial: With boots on the ground authenticity at the heart of everything we do, our comprehensive array of commercial products and services enable you to work directly with our clients, across hedging, risk management, execution and clearing, OTC products, commodity finance and more. 
 

The Key Result Areas is to manage the end-to-end bullion business set up, create product in line with market requirement and commence business operations, including gold sales, client coordination, pricing validation, regulatory compliance, and transaction execution. The role serves as a strategic link between the StoneX teams across the globe, ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient bullion transactions while maintaining high standards of service excellence and operational governance.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

 

Bullion Sales & Operations

  • Manage the complete lifecycle of bullion desk operations including sales execution, order booking, transaction validation, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with the Treasury Department for bullion pricing, trade execution, and daily rate dissemination to relevant internal teams.
  • Execute client orders for physical bullion transactions ensuring accuracy, prompt turnaround, and adherence to pricing and settlement guidelines.
  • Oversee transaction booking, accounting entries, reconciliation, and margin calculations related to bullion trades.

 

Client Management & Relationship Support

  • Act as the primary contact point for corporate and institutional bullion clients, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Handle client queries related to bullion pricing, order execution, delivery status, and compliance documentation.
  • Work closely with Relationship Managers to support client acquisition, portfolio management, and cross-selling of bullion-linked solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and updated client documentation as per KYC and AML guidelines.

 

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all bullion transactions are executed in full compliance with RBI, FEMA, and internal policy requirements.
  • Monitor trade-related risks and ensure timely reporting and approvals for high-value transactions.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by maintaining appropriate records, MIS reports, and transaction trail documents.
  • Implement process checks to minimize operational and compliance risks within the bullion desk.

Coordination with Internal Departments

  • Liaise with various teams for seamless trade settlement and accounting closure.
  • Partner with Technology and Process Improvement teams to enhance automation in bullion transaction workflows.
  • Collaborate with the Risk and Compliance teams to update and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs).

 

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Track bullion market trends, pricing movements, and macroeconomic developments affecting gold trade.
  • Prepare daily and periodic MIS reports, P&L statements, and bullion position summaries for senior management review.
  • Provide market insights and analytical reports to support Treasury and Product teams in decision-making and product innovation.

 

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of bullion markets, treasury operations, and precious metal trading.
  • Excellent understanding of RBI guidelines, FEMA regulations, and KYC/AML norms related to bullion.
  • Proficiency in financial systems (Synergy, RTGS/NEFT modules, MIS tools).
  • Analytical thinking with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong client management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet time-sensitive trade deadlines.

 

Educational & Professional Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or banking or equivalent.
  • 10–14 years of relevant experience in bullion trading, treasury coordination, or transaction banking operations in a leading financial institution.
