Responsibilities

Position Purpose: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Copywriter to prepare and rebrand content from an existing website to a new platform as part of our digital transformation project. This role requires a blend of content strategy, copywriting, and technical skills to ensure the new website is consistent with our brand voice, SEO-optimized, and give full visibility to our USPs. 

 

Primary duties will include:  

  • Content Preparation: Update, rewrite, and edit existing copy to align with new project requirements, brand voice, and in-house style guides.
  • SEO Optimization: Ensure all content is optimized for search engines using best practices, including keyword research, meta tags, and URL structures, to maintain or improve organic traffic during and after migration.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and marketing teams, to ensure a cohesive and effective user experience.
  • Documentation and Governance: Create and maintain documentation related to content migration processes, style guides, and governance models for future content management.
  • Project Management Support: Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders, highlight risks or issues, and help manage content project timelines and deliverables. 
  • Compliance: Manage approval processes to ensure communication meets business and compliance/legal objectives.

Qualifications

To land this role you will need

  • Solid technical content and copy creation experience within digitally led marketing organisation in the financial, investment, trading or spread-betting vertical would be an advantage.
  • Ability to translate a wide range and large volume of complex information into simple, accurate, clear, consistent and compelling messages for prospects, clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and to prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships both within the department & across departments and at all levels within the organization.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proofreading
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Education / Certification Requirements: 

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
