Responsibilities

Position Purpose: Java Engineer working within EIT Dev Technology Internal Hub department.

 

Primary duties will include (not limited to):

 

  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle working within Agile methodology
  • Write well designed, testable and efficient code
  • Ensure designs follow specifications
  • Collaborate and take instruction from peer engineers to complete tasks
  • Document all components/methodologies as required

Qualifications

Required technical skills/experience:

  • Java, Spring Boot
  • PostgreSQL (or similar relational DB), SQL
  • Git
  • Unit Testing

Nice-to-have skills/experience:

  • Microservices, Rest APIs, ORM, Mocking
  • Messaging platforms (Kafka, RedPanda)
  • DevOps, CI/CD
  • Agile methodology

   Early Careers Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a relevant program and graduating between December 2026 and August 2027 (entering penultimate year of university)
  • Available for a July 2026 start date for a 10-week program
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (preferably Excel)
  • Must be authorized to work in Poland for any employer

 

 

Working environment

Hybrid with minimum of 4 days in the office
