Responsibilities

Position Purpose:

 

We are seeking an Sales Manager to provide high levels of strategic knowledge and direction on a range of commercial affairs central to the successful execution of the strategic objectives of JP Client Facing team in a dynamic environment.

In this role, working as part of a supportive and collegiate team, you will support the Managers, Commercial Directors on all commercial and contractual matters concerning StoneX. 

This role is to lead a team of Client Facing to achieve Sales targets. Besides, this role is also an individual contributor to achieve his personal target of the team. Importantly, this role is obliged to support decision-making of commercial board.

 

 

Primary duties will include:

 

  • Lead client facing team towards achievement of firm’s retail sales objectives – new accounts, trading revenue
  • Work together with VP, Senior Manager Retail – China & Japan to provide strategic insight and collaborate with stakeholders to drive meaningful changes in relation to productivity and efficiency from client facing team.
  • Set and assess team members’ target, track team performance on daily, weekly and monthly basis, including but not limited to daily operations, leads assignments, call monitoring/reviews, performance tracking while providing suggestions to stakeholders to maximize commercial performance
  • Assist new team members to ensure they have the knowledge, tools, and drive to deliver superior service
  • Assist with side projects to support the team and other departments
  • Handle sophisticated client inquiries and provide backup to our Tier2 support
  • Drive practices that effectively respond to compliance risks and breaches

Qualifications

To land this role you will need

  • At least 2-3 years of front-line team experience including at least 1 year of sales-oriented experience with track records
  • Thorough knowledge in selling to, and dealing with Japanese market on OTC products, and extremely familiar with the Japanese business operating environment, including clients’ psyche, banking/payment environment and regulations
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A thorough understanding of financial markets.
  • A process manager.

 

Working environment:

  • 4 days in office, 1 day remote
