Responsibilities

Position Purpose: The Intelligent Automation Team Lead role exists to strategically guide and empower a cross-functional automation team in delivering innovative, scalable solutions that align with business objectives. This position drives the adoption of intelligent automation technologies to enhance operational efficiency, foster continuous improvement, and bridge technical capabilities with enterprise needs.

 

Primary duties will include:

  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team specializing in RPA, low-code platforms, AI agents, and BPM tools.
  • Define and execute intelligent automation strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of automation projects, ensuring they meet scope, timeline, and budget requirements.
  • Provide architectural and technical guidance across automation platforms, ensuring adherence to standards and governance.
  • Act as a liaison between business units, IT, and external vendors to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Promote innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and recommending tools to enhance automation capabilities.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to drive adoption and continuous improvement in automation practices.

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in automation and low-code development platforms (RPA, BPM, Low-Code).
  • Proven experience (2+ years) leading technical teams and managing complex automation projects.
  • Experience in using Generative AI.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for automation.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to identify automation opportunities.

Education / Certification Requirements: 

  • University degree in a technical related discipline or proven years of experience.

Working environment:

  • Hybrid – private parking for employees.
  • FTE (UoP).
