Position Purpose:

The Social Media Manager is responsible for supporting the Central Marketing department in the development and implemention of the company's social media strategy.

Networking with executives and thought leaders, working with content teams to develop engaging campaigns, liasing with other marketing teams to create functional lead funnels and regular monitoring and reporting are further essentials for a successful representation of this role.

Reporting to the Global Head of Social Media, this role is an opportunity to engage with some of the most experienced and insightful experts in the financial field, leveraging their incredible breadth and depth of knowledge to attract new business and project the StoneX brand across the globe via the largest social media platforms (eg LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, etc).

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Global Head of Social Media and other key stakeholders to execute robust social media strategies that leverage our broad business at scale
  • Network with key stakeholders across the business to better understand the various offerings StoneX has as well as the opportunities to socialize each group presents
  • Work with Heads of Content, Copy and Design to develop StoneX-wide social brand voice and identify opportunities for distinguishing between businesses to target audiences
  • Setup broad monitoring efforts to track overall social performance as well as strategic tracking to test successful adaptations
  • Create reports with social team to communicate performance to stakeholders and central marketing team
  • Be a thought leader in social media to relay strategies that can connect StoneX’s vast knowledge to ever evolving audiences
  • Work with Head of Content to establish crucial policies and relationships between social media and compliance to avoid all regulatory issues and bolster team efficiency
  • Strategize with paid acquisition team to strategically boost views, engagement and lead generation via our social channels
  • Own social media content calendar, working with content team to ensure timely, broad and relevant posts with advanced view utilizing healthy brand, campaign, evergreen and topical mix
  • Use social media management tools such as Sprout Social
  • Stay up to date with social media best practices, trends, and technologies.
  • Maintain prompt and regular attendance. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field required.
  • 2+ years in social media marketing
  • Demonstratable understanding of social media content management and analytics - organic and paid
  • Excellent knowledge of social media channels and KPIs
  • Experience creating and managing social media content calendars
  • Experience creating and executing social media campaigns
  • Understanding of social media analytics, measurement, and reporting
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Outstanding time-management and communications skills
  • Critical and creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • A strong team player and networker
  • Strong analytical skills, i.e., the ability to analyse results to determine key findings.
  • Experience in the financial industry and/or markets is preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the UK for any employer.
  • Must be able to work at the office in London, UK based on company policy.
