Position Purpose: As a Senior SEO Manager, you will play a critical role in leading complex CMS and domain migration projects from an SEO perspective. You will work closely with migration squads, developers, and product teams to define and refine technical requirements, NFRs (Non-Functional Requirements), and SEO benchmarks.
This is a highly technical role focused on SEO implementation during migrations, requiring deep expertise in site architecture, crawl optimization, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and log file analysis. You will be the SEO lead for migration squads, ensuring minimal risk and maximum performance post-launch by embedding SEO requirements into Dev refinements and QA processes.
Primary duties will include
Lead SEO strategy for CMS and domain migrations, ensuring SEO integrity throughout the process.
Define technical requirements for developers, including redirects, canonicalization, structured data, and Core Web Vitals compliance.
Conduct pre- and post-migration benchmarking, risk assessments, and performance audits.
Technical SEO Expertise
Drive site architecture planning, crawl optimization, and indexation strategies.
Oversee log file analysis, JavaScript rendering checks, and site speed improvements.
Ensure compliance with NFRs related to SEO performance and scalability.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with Dev teams during refinement sessions to ensure SEO requirements are implemented correctly.
Partner with Product, UX, and Content teams to maintain SEO best practices during redesigns and migrations.
Advanced Reporting and Analysis
Build and maintain technical SEO dashboards using tools like Power BI, Looker Studio, and advanced Excel. Provide actionable insights and communicate migration progress and impact to senior stakeholders.
International SEO
Manage SEO for multi-domain, multi-regional sites, ensuring proper hreflang implementation and localization strategies.
To land this role you will need:
Strong analytical skills.
Proven SEO experience with a track record of success in top-ranking.
Familiarity with SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and others and automating SEO work and reporting
Deep knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
Minimum 5 years of experience as an SEO Manager
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
HTML/CSS/JS advanced knowledge
PowerBI, Advanced Excel, Looker Studio knowledge
