Position purpose: We are an agile, passionate team capable of building scalable, performant solutions to solve real world problems on a global scale. As a member of the Regulatory Reporting team, you will work to build, maintain, and support our regulatory reporting systems and processes. The successful candidate will operate and support our systems from end to end, assist in influencing the direction of our technology and interact with others to develop creative solutions. They will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact – the work done will help in tangible ways.

Primary Duties will include:

• Create and enhance applications that will enable our teams to work smarter and faster within our regulatory operations environment.
• Support current systems and processes.
• Follow our software development practices and methodologies and write code consistent with defined technology stack and standards.
• Be a valuable member of a team focused toward delivering high-quality development support to our regulatory and compliance staff.
• Communicate effectively in a collaborative, complex and high performing team environment.
• Estimate time and effort by defining and planning development tasks.

To land this role you will need:

• 2+ years of professional front end, web, or mobile software developing with C#, .Net, MVC, JavaScript Framework
• 1+ years of professional relational database development (Microsoft SQL Server), basic web technologies (HTML, XML, CSS)
• Strong in Computer Science fundamentals and core areas like problem solving, data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
• Strong customer orientation, communication, and attention to detail.
• Understanding of design and skills relating to the user experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under time constraints as necessary.
• Excellent verbal, written, and relationship skills used to interact with a global group of technical and non-technical people.

What makes you stand out: 

• Knowledge of financial markets or a strong desire to learn
• Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as required.
• Analyze and recommend development strategies, process improvements and standards.
• Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Front-end development frameworks (Angular 4, React), Cloud services (Microsoft Azure), Message queue-based designs/implementations (WebSphere MQ), Git code repositories, Reporting services (Power BI, Kibana), FIX protocol.
• Knowledge of server-side configuration and deployment (IIS, TeamCity, Octopus).

Education: 

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Working Environment: 

• Hybrid (4 days in office per week)
