Responsibilities

Position Purpose: To lead the vision, strategy and roadmap for StoneX’s internal systems development group that serve our global operations teams. Focusing on consolidation of the group’s global operations technology into a central management application.

 

Primary duties will include:

 

  • Create and communicate the Vision for our internal operations management system to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work with global operations stakeholders to learn about the distributed applications and processes used to support across global StoneX teams.
  • Create and Manage a StoneX global application catalogue detailing the functionality associated with each of our distributed operational tools.
  • Detail the personnel, licensing and infrastructure costs associated with each of the applications added to the catalogue.
  • Coordinate global operations stakeholders to understand and capture daily operational tasks and corresponding metrics.
  • Work with technical teams to prioritise technical solutions based on improving operational efficiency and creating value.
  • Create a product roadmap for consolidating distributed applications and processes into a central operations application.
  • Gain a deep understanding of existing StoneX business, processes, technology and capabilities.
  • Analyse inefficiencies, overlap and challenges with existing processes and implementations.
  • Work closely with development and UX/UI teams to promote the vision and ensure continuity between tools.
  • Understand the StoneX Group technology and Product environment to ensure solutions fit existing and future frameworks.
  • Capture and report on key metrics indicating the value added by delivered functionality
  • Ensure backlogs are well managed and teams are clear on upcoming priorities.
  • Participate in key engineering ceremonies including standups, story refinements, sprint planning.
  • Verify whether features have been built to specification and determine when the product is ready to release coordinating with the relevant business stakeholders.
  • Disseminate regular Product updates to keep a broad array of stakeholders well informed on progress and challenges.
  • Conduct presentations of the vision, strategy and product progress updates.

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

 

  • 5+ years plus experience in a Financial Services senior Product role.
  • Experience of financial services internal operations business processes .
  • Experience working on large and complex products and change projects.
  • Experience of AI models in a financial services operations  capacity (desired).
  • Ability to influence at a senior level.
  • Previous people management experience (desired).
  • Strong organizational, time management and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to challenge ideas and accept constructive criticism
  • Degree educated
  • Product qualifications (desired).

 

Education / Certification Requirements: 

 

  • University degree in a related discipline.
