Responsibilities

Job Purpose:

 

The ideal candidate will play a key role in strengthening our client relationships, and delivering high-touch execution services to institutional clients across Asia and globally.  This role will extend capabilities and connect trade flows from StoneX’s Principal Market Making desk in the US, as well as with Institutional flows from the Americas and Europe.

The role demands strong client management, market expertise, excellence, and a proactive approach to business development in a highly competitive environment.

 

Primary duties will include: 

  • Manages a relationship with the Principal Equities Market Making team in the U.S. and assist with wholesale liquidation of risk positions into APAC.
  • Manages and nurtures strong relationships with client organizations to drive client success and satisfaction.
  • Provide high-quality execution services for global and regional equities to institutional clients.
  • Actively source and grow new business opportunities, contributing to the expansion of the client base.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including research, compliance, risk management, and technology to deliver seamless execution and service.
  • Monitor and interpret global equity markets, providing timely insights and updates to clients.
  • Ensure all trading activities comply with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and best execution practices.
  • Contribute to strategic planning around platform enhancements, market access, and electronic trading solutions.
  • Support the Head of Trading in mentoring junior staff and promoting a high-performance, client-focused culture.

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in equity sales trading within a global investment bank, broker-dealer, or asset management firm.
  • Proven track record of managing institutional client relationships and driving trading revenue.
  • Deep understanding of global equity markets, trade execution strategies, and order management systems (OMS/EMS).
  • Strong network of institutional clients in Asia preferred.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and client-first mentality.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide actionable market commentary.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Education / Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • Existing MAS regulatory licensing is a plus or the ability to pass the paper quickly will be preferred.
