The client service associate is responsible for providing customer service in US and non-US equities, ADR conversions, arbitrage, fixed income, options, booking, settlement control through DTC and Euroclear, asset movements, wire input and approval, outgoing/ incoming transfers, margin requirements, corporate actions.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor client items settlement in our different platforms
  • Process and document all client LOA’s
  • Process Client equity and fixed income trades
  • Process client options trades
  • Ensure matching and settlement of client trades
  • Ensure all average price and facilitation accounts remain empty
  • Correct any trade booking errors
  • Monitor and assist with client margin and funding issues
  • Facilitate client special handling items
  • Trade review, booking and risk monitoring on Nasdaq ACT System

Qualifications

  • Al least a minimum knowledge of finance
  • Advanced/fluent level of Spanish or Portuguese
  • Detail oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills with the ability to work under pressure
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and demonstrate patience with them
  • Self-starter and independent thinker, and be able to adapt to a dynamic environment
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
