StoneX Apprenticeship 

Are you looking to gain real world experience in an entrepreneurial culture? Consider an apprenticeship at a thriving global financial services firm and launch your career with StoneX! A StoneX Apprenticeship will provide development, support, career growth, and an endless array of opportunities. You can expect to make an impact on the business and experience a career defining apprenticeship program. The program will start in January or February and go through until July, where the successful students upon attaining the university degree will be  considered for full-time positions that immediately follows the apprenticeship.

Position Purpose: As an Apprentice, you will help develop and maintain data pipelines using Databricks, SQL, and Python. You'll support data ingestion, transformation, and performance tuning efforts to enable reliable, scalable data workflows. Collaborate with senior engineers to improve data quality and analytics readiness. 

 Primary duties will include (not limited to):   

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using tools like Databricks, Python, and SQL. 

• Support data ingestion and transformation processes from various sources into data lakes or warehouses. 

• Assist in performance tuning and optimization of ETL/ELT jobs for efficiency and scalability. 

• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing basic validation and monitoring checks. 

• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver clean, structured datasets. 

• Document pipeline logic, workflows, and data models to support transparency and knowledge sharing. 

• Explore opportunities for automation in repetitive tasks to streamline data operations.
