The program will start in January or February and go through until July, where the successful students upon attaining the university degree will be considered for full-time positions that immediately follows the apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

Position Purpose: 

We are looking for a curious and committed individual to join our Global Payment Operations (GPO)  Projects Team. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of cross-border payments and work closely with Business Analysts and Developers to deliver new generation back-office technology focused on transparency and usability. Through mentorship and collaboration, you’ll develop a strong foundation in financial operations and be a part of transforming legacy platforms into real-time, future proof solutions designed to achieve end-to-end automation and optimize customer service levels.

 

Roles and Responsibilities (but not limited to)

  • Review User Stories to ensure the full scope of a requirement is understood and addressed
  • Validate the correctness of IT deliveries and configuration changes
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all system enhancements, upgrades, or bug fixes, impacting operational workflows in any of the Global Payments application suite
  • Compile UAT results (test packs) and conclusions for review and approval.
  • End-to-End testing (Front office, Middle office, and Back Office) applications in conjunction with the respective team
  • Clear and comprehensive logging of bugs/issues found during UAT ensuring timely follow and resolution
  • Working closely with all levels of management, operational staff, and multiple IT Teams (QA, BA, Developers)

Early Careers Requirements 

  • Pursuing a relevant bachelor’s degree course from an accredited university 
  • Finishing university by July-August 2026
  • Available for a January 2026 start on a full-time 6-month program

  

Working environment 

  • Hybrid (team dependent)
