Responsibilities

Position Purpose: As a Motion Designer, you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing ideas to life, developing and delivering high-quality motion content that aligns with our brand’s vision and marketing objectives. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute innovative ideas, manage multiple projects from concept to completion, and showcase your attention to detail while meeting deadlines.

 

Primary duties will include: 

  • Concept Development: Work closely with the creative team to brainstorm and develop innovative motion graphics concepts.
  • Design and Animation: Create high-quality motion graphics, animations, and video content that align with the brand’s visual identity and marketing goals.
  • Storyboarding: Ability to develop detailed storyboards and animatics to visualize project concepts and timelines.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the video manager, designers, copywriters, marketers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and effective visual communication. Help junior members of the team.
  • Feedback and Revisions: Incorporate feedback from clients and team members, making necessary revisions to achieve the desired outcome.
  • Trends and Innovation: Stay updated on the latest trends in motion design, animation techniques, and software advancements to continually improve the quality of work.
  • Technical Proficiency: Utilize software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D/Blender, and other relevant tools to create motion graphics and animations.

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in motion design.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop) and other relevant motion design software (Cinema 4D/Blender etc.).
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of motion design projects, highlighting creativity, technical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Creativity: Ability to generate original ideas and concepts that align with the brand’s vision and objectives.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale effectively.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work well within a team environment, contributing positively to team dynamics.

What makes you stand out: 

  • 3D Animation: Experience with Cinema 4D/Blender
  • Sound Design: Basic understanding of sound design and its integration with motion graphics.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Motion Design, Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field.
