Position Purpose: StoneX is looking for a talented Senior UI designer to work closely with product team in a dynamic, fast-paced and exciting environment for a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. 

Primary duties will include: 

• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
• Create pixel perfect user interfaces for web and mobile applications
• Ensure usability and accessibility across different products
• Contribute to and maintain the company’s design system
• Ensure brand consistency and a unified visual language across all products
• Understanding of UX principles
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, copy, research, development, product and other stakeholders
• Keep up to date with industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the quality of UI at the company
• Build and implement a design thinking culture at the company
• Distill simplicity from complex business requirements
• Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to the team and executive level stakeholders

To land this role you will need:

• At least 1 years of experience in senior position
• Demonstrate expert use of Figma and auto-layouts
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Take ownership of projects and see the big picture strategy
• Demonstrate experience in a corporate or established commercial environment
• Working knowledge in creating design systems
• Flexible, decisive, great communication skills both when interfacing with stakeholders as well when working with design team
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
