Responsibilities

Purpose of this position is to ensure efficient and effective execution of StoneX Commodity Solutions, LLC international transactions.  This role’s primary purpose is contract performance, position, inventory/ releases, P&L, risk mitigation - ensuring accurate execution, payment performance, and safe transfer/release of title for commodity trade finance transactions and back to back trade flows.

 

The International Trade Operations Associate will lead and coordinate execution of international finance programs. Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Request and review loaded volumes from grain elevators to end consumers (plants) across Mexico.
  • Inventory Management across multiple elevators, make releases effectively according to plants consumptions forecasts.
  • Inventory and title documentation control and management across finance and back-to-back trade flow, ensuring safe transfer and release of title.
  • Ensure payment performance on international transactions including presentation of documentation.
  • Safe settlements. Ensure invoicing and payments are on according to payment terms.
  • Track P&L.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in international business, Supply Chain, Accounting or business-related field or 2 + years relevant international trade experience
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience reviewing inventory positions, forecasts and managing databases.
  • Experience ensuring contract payment performance for purchase and sales contracts.
  • Experience creating and reviewing trade related documentation desired.
  • Experience in accounting previous roles (or background), eager to learn about international transactions.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexible and adaptable with an ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Passion to learn and expand international trade knowledge in unfamiliar product lines
  • Proficient in Microsoft office product (Powerbi basics desired)
