Responsibilities

Position Purpose: 

Highly motivated and experienced marketing professional sought to lead regional marketing efforts for FOREX.com, a global leader in online trading.

 

This role is focused on driving customer acquisition and business growth across the United States, Canada, and Latin America. Reporting directly to the Head of Global Marketing, this strategic leadership position offers a unique opportunity to shape the regional marketing strategy, manage a team of local marketers, and play a pivotal role in scaling the FOREX.com brand and self-directed trading business throughout the Americas.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience leading marketing efforts across the Americas, a proven track record of successful campaigns, a passion for results, and a curious mindset focused on efficiency. This data-driven marketer combines strategic and tactical expertise, strong leadership skills, a collaborative spirit, and commitment to exceptional performance. Brand building and localization expertise are essential, as is strong digital marketing proficiency

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regional Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute the regional marketing strategy (aligned to, and lead by, the global marketing strategy) in collaboration with the Head of Global Marketing, emphasizing acquisition, onboarding, conversion, customer experience, and customer value management (CVM).
  • Market Expertise: Develop and maintain deep market understanding within the region, including cultural nuances, competitive dynamics, regulatory environment, customer preferences, and retail financial market intricacies.
  • Campaign Implementation: Oversee the implementation of targeted, primarily digital, marketing campaigns developed by the regional team, ensuring alignment with overall strategy, adapting global campaigns to local market needs and the retail financial market.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and analyze regional campaign performance across all markets within the region, working with local marketers to ensure they are meeting their individual goals. Consolidate reporting and provide insights to the Head of Global Marketing.
  • Channel Management: Oversee the management and optimization of marketing channels by the regional team, prioritizing digital channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email, content, display) to reach the retail financial market audience in each market.
  • Content Strategy: Guide the content strategy for the region, working with local marketers and the content team to develop and adapt compelling, culturally relevant content for each market within the region's retail financial market, ensuring appropriate translation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with regional and global teams (Sales, Digital Media, Affiliates, SEO, Customer Experience, Product, Insights) for seamless execution and alignment.
  • Budget Management: Manage the overall regional marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across all markets and maximizing ROI.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor activities across all markets within the region, identifying differentiation opportunities within the retail financial market.
  • Brand Management & Localization: Ensure consistent global brand representation while adapting strategies to the specific needs and cultural nuances of each market within the region.
  • Regional Marketing Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of local marketing managers within Canada/United States/Latin America, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.

Regulatory Requirements:

  • Maintain high ethical standards and conduct.
  • Adhere to and enhance compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Identify risks and enhance business controls.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Proven marketing leadership experience, preferably in financial services or e-commerce, with a strong retail financial market focus.
  • Experience leading Americas marketing efforts and managing a team is essential.
  • Strong understanding of the market landscape within Canada/United States/Latin America.
  • Proven success executing marketing campaigns and achieving results.
  • Curious mindset focused on efficiency improvements.
  • Strategic and tactical marketing expertise.
  • Deep understanding of SEO, SEM, social media, email, content, and display advertising.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate teams.
  • Ability to develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Preferred:

  • Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, or Chinese is a plus.

Education and Certification Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree required

Hiring Salary Range $150,000 - $170,000 Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity and alignment with market data.)   Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.  This compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
