Position Purpose: As a Product Designer, you will play a critical role in crafting the future of our payment solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and researchers, to create intuitive, user-centered designs that enhance the experience of our customers. From crafting the details of interaction patterns to defining overarching design strategies, you’ll help us build products that inspire trust and deliver value to our diverse customer base.

Primary Duties will include:

  • Lead the end-to-end product design process, from discovery and research to ideation, wireframing, prototyping, and final delivery.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business goals and user needs into elegant, practical design solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our users, their behaviors, pain points, and motivations through user research, interviews, and usability testing.
  • Design and refine user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI mockups for web and mobile platforms.
  • Build interactive prototypes to validate ideas and gather feedback from users and stakeholders.
  • Advocate for design consistency and scalability by contributing to and maintaining our design system.
  • Stay current on industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to push the boundaries of what’s possible in payments.
  • Mentor and support junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture within the team.
  • Deep expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, with the ability to effectively measure UX success and strategize targeted interventions and improvements based on data-driven insights.

  • Strong proficiency in Figma in creating and maintaining a design system.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and usability best practices.
  • Proven experience conducting and applying user research insights to design decisions.
  • Ability to design for accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring all users can interact with our products seamlessly.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and advocate for the user.
  • A growth mindset with a passion for learning and improving both your craft and the products you work on.
  • Experience in payments, fintech, or other highly regulated industries is a plus but not required.

What will make you stand out:

  • Highlight examples of how your designs have driven measurable improvements in user engagement, conversion rates, or other key performance metrics.
  • Share specific case studies or projects where you successfully collaborated with cross-functional teams to overcome design challenges and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Bonus but not required - Include experience or understanding of regulatory requirements in payments or other highly regulated industries, emphasizing how you integrated compliance into your designs.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience Design, Product Design or a related field.
