Business Segment Overview

Job Purpose:

Will be part of a Global team responsible for enhancing and growing the use of Murex Worldwide. To develop and maintain Murex system for both internal and external users.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Create monitoring tools to facilitate Murex efficiency enhancements
• Design processes/procedures to optimize system performance
• Support EOD issues and optimize EOD processes
• Create, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries
• Work independently to analyze issues and provide solutions
• Proactively identify any improvements to make system more resilient

• Initial diagnosis of problems or apply known solutions including documenting problems, progress checking and escalation to ensure resolution

Enhancing pre-trade logic

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience on at least one module of Murex
• Good communication skills
• Proficient in Linux scripting, python and/or perl
• Intermediate/advanced knowledge of SQL
• Ability to adapt quickly and solve problems
• Analytical mindset towards design and debugging

Nice to have

• Murex EOD debugging experience
• Murex upgrade experience
• Murex datamart experience
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow.
