Responsibilities

Job Purpose:

 

To support the continuing development of this highly successful business, we require an experienced, dynamic, Sanctions Screening or Transaction Monitoring professional to play a key role in managing and overseeing the performance of the sanctions screening team of individuals.

 

 

General Duties


• Manage the day-to-day activities of the sanctions/monitoring team, including work distribution and load management.
• Act as point of escalation for all sanctions screening related queries.
• Lead the team to work collaboratively and supervise the QC framework.
• Management of the sanctions screening tool, including whitelisting, blacklisting and ongoing calibrations.
• Coaching and mentoring team members as part of learning and development. Leading and motivating team members to fulfil their potential and perform to their highest ability.
• Provide MI (management information) to senior management and stakeholders.
• Assist in the execution of ad-hoc projects as required.

Qualifications

What makes you stand out:

 

Bachelor’s Degree in business, Law or other appropriate discipline
• Professional Compliance Qualification in Sanctions screening/Monitoring - desirable.
• Experience of SWIFT, Ficrosoft, Lexis Nexis and Actimize would be an advantage
• Advanced Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel skills

  • Minumum 2 years experience in people management
