Business Segment Overview

Responsibilities

Position Purpose:

The Trade Platform Support team is responsible for support, technical operations, administration, and advisory relating to the suite of Front-Office and client trading software supporting StoneX’s Futures and Options service offering

Primary duties will include:

Daily BAU (40%)

  • OMS User creation, limits & required setup to facilitate clients trading 
  • Record and respond to all queries as the first line to customer trading, system functionality questions and problems 
  • Interact with traders, clients & vendors to identify technical issues 
  • Manage client contacts as well as escalation path through problem ownership 
  • Monitor actively and respond to alerts within trading system universe 
  • On-boarding of clients to various Exchange via Sponsored or FIX protocol & APIs
  • Clear and thorough documentation of all team procedures and processes

Change/Re-engineering (20%)

  • Active engagement in ongoing tactical and strategic projects and change management
  • Review system functionality to ensure alignment with market, risk, and regulatory requirements
  • Constantly review and analysis to improve processes, increase efficiency, and contribute to the overall profitability of the desks you support

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in Trading Systems administration and/or operations
  • A working of knowledge of Exchange-Traded Derivatives and/or Securities trading systems
  • High standards of accuracy, diligence, and the ability to meet deadlines
  • A quality client service mindset towards both internal and external Trading system users

Education / Certification Requirements

  • A good Bachelor’s degree or exceptionally strong results in a Diploma or equivalent qualification

  • Provide holiday support when necessary
