Position Purpose:

As a UAT-Tester at StoneX, you will have an opportunity to accelerate the delivery and improve the quality of our FX payments platforms.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing automation frameworks for functional and non-functional test requirements, create test suites, building maintaining test harnesses and putting together various quality assurance and testing initiatives.

• To develop, execute and debug scripts in an automated test environment.
• To execute tests on software usability.
• To develop and document detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on API specifications and user stories.
• To analyse test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
• To prepare reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team.
• To implement and maintain automated test scripts for API testing.
• To conduct performance and load testing on APIs to ensure they can handle expected traffic
• To interact with clients to understand product requirements.
• To participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.

To land this role you will need: 

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in testing and test automation.
• Good experience in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress or Webdriver IO.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
• Experience in any programming language such as C#, Java or JavaScript.
• Current knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies.
• Experience in documenting test results.
• Developing scripts, execute and debug in an automated test environment
• Good to have experience in BDD.
• Good to have experience in Agile process.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
