Responsibilities

Position Purpose: The role is mainly focused on providing essential support to the back office operations of the Precious Metals Trading Business in Dubai.

 

Primary duties will include:

  • Processing trade settlements:
  • Currencies
  • Precious Metals – Physical / Unallocated
  • Daily & monthly reconciliations of external nostros, physical depositories, and internal systems
  • Accrual, payment, and allocation of Invoicing (Specifically Refineries & Carriers)
  • Shipment Log, manage out-turn adjustments, and daily invoicing of all imports and exports
  • Instructing vaults to release/receipt metals from clients/refineries as per their equity/limits
  • Daily interaction with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ad hoc problem resolution as required.

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

  • Previous experience in a commodities / FX back office role (settlements, confirmations, Treasury etc.)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Fluent or Native Arabic speaker
  • Effective planning, organisation and time management skills

  •  Degree level or equivalent education (preferred)
  •  Previous experience in Precious Metals Operations
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral)
