As an integral part of our group, you'll collaborate closely with our customer and front-office teams, contributing to the development, upkeep, and advancement of our mobile applications. Your role will drive impactful changes, directly influencing our company's growth and success.

 

Technology Ecosystem:

  • Mobile development: React Native, Swift, Objective-C, Xamarin, or Kotlin
  • Microsoft technologies including C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core
  • Database development: eg., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, DB2
  • Cloud: Azure

Responsibilities

Primary duties will include: 

  • As a Technical Leader / Software Engineering Manager of Mobile Development, you will provide strong technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of mobile engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative development environment.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the mobile engineering team, facilitating skill development and career progression.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define the mobile product roadmap, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives and technological advancements.
  • Oversee the design and architecture of our mobile applications, making decisions that enhance performance, security, and scalability while adhering to best practices.
  • Stay current with mobile technology trends, emerging tools, and industry best practices, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our mobile applications.
  • Manage release process, coordinating with various teams to ensure successful deployment and monitoring of app performance post-release.

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related Degree.
  • A growth mindset and willingness to solve challenging problems.
  • Ability to remain flexible during times of change and react to project adjustments and alterations promptly, efficiently, and positively.
  • Experience working with UX/UI designers and working with wireframes/prototypes and iterating through to high-def/production ready UI.
  • Proven ability to make decisions, manage projects and meet strict deadlines.
  • 5+ years of proficiency in Microsoft technologies including C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and Entity Framework.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in building and integrating with RESTful APIs.
  • 5+ years in relational database development (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, DB2).
  • 5+ years of expertise in mobile development using React Native, Swift, Objective-C, Xamarin, or Kotlin.
  • Familiarity with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher/Wrangler.
  • 5+ years of experience managing repositories, artifacts, and orchestrating build & release pipelines on Cloud platforms, especially Azure DevOps.

Working environment: 

  • Hybrid (2 days from home, 3 days from the office); our Cracow office will be moved to St. Mogilska 35 in May, 2024
