Responsibilities

Department Overview 

Become part of our team during your studies, gain valuable practical experience and contribute to the design, implementation and testing of compliance management systems. You will be part of the compliance team based in Frankfurt and work closely with the business in Germany, Ireland and Luxembourg. 

 

Accountabilities/Responsibilities: 

  • Learn about new laws and regulations and analyzing the impact to the business 
  • Assist in performing gap analysis against relevant laws, regulations and guidance to reduce the risk exposure to the business 
  • Learn and get exposed to complex concepts into easy terms and  create awareness on Compliance/AML topics 
  • Support on any ad hoc projects and tasks assigned to you including but not limited to work with the team to issue compliance tasks and duties (preparation of documentation, presentations, etc.) 

Qualifications

 

  • Natural flair and desire to learn about Financial Industry  
  • Effective interpersonal skills with strong verbal communication skills 
  • Honest, curious and self-driven 
  • Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to detail 
  • The confidence to fail 
  • Fluent in German and very good knowledge of English (any other language is an advantage) 

 

Early Careers Requirements 

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master´s degree from an accredited university in a relevant program (law, business law or related field) and graduating between March 2025 and September 2025 (entering penultimate year of university) 
  • Available for August 2024 start date for a 10 week program 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (preferably Excel) 
  • Must be authorized to work in EU for any employer
