Department Overview 

The StoneX Metals team in Hamburg accounts for more than 50 years of aggregated experience and trades both Industrial and Precious metals as well as Forex for industrial clients in 27 countries worldwide. We trade from Copper or Aluminum to Gold or Silver across the metals listed derivatives in the London Metals Exchange (LME) and London Bullion Market Association(LBMA). Our client base goes across the whole value chain of metals from extraction in the mines to refine, production, trading and recycling.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities:  

• Develop fundamental expertise and charting analysis in commodities markets 
• Learn pricing and execution in Base and Precious metals markets as well as FX 
• Understand the desk’s business strategy and processes flow

Early Careers Requirements 

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a relevant program and graduating between March 2025 and September 2025 (entering penultimate year of university) 
• Available for a August 2024 start date for a 10 week program 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (preferably Excel) 
• Must be authorized to work in the EU for any employer
