Position Purpose: We are looking for a hands-on Senior Software Engineer with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. The role will encompass architecture and development across all tiers of the application stack.

You will be part of a talented engineer team that works on low-latency mission-critical applications. Roles and responsibilities include application architecture and development across full software development lifecycle from concept and design to testing, collaborating with like-minded engineers. Technically leading team of highly skilled software engineers, forging relationships with key stakeholders across diverse user base.

Technology Ecosystem:

• Front-End: Javascript, React/React JS
• Back End:C# .Net Core, SQL
• Architect:Microservices Architecture, monolithic Architecture
• Cloud:Azure, AWS or GC

Primary duties will include:

• Primary focus on server-side development
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle working within Agile methodology
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code following design principles/patterns such as Singleton.
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Mentor and support engineers with technical direction and best practises
• Support continuous improvement by investigating new technology and presenting for architectural review

To land this role you will need:

• Minimum 8+ years of experience building global enterprise level systems
• Extensive experience developing complex distributed event-based microservices using C#/.Net Core
• Knowledge with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
• Exposure with distributed messaging / streaming platforms (Apache Kafka)
• Involvement building CI/CD pipelines (ideally Azure DevOps)
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases SQL and No-SQL databases

What makes you stand out: 

• Having worked on a global product within a multitude of time zones
• Experience with TDD/BDD, testing framework (est/React-testing-library/Junit)
• Some experience building web-based applications using React / Typescript
• Experience working as part of global Agile team

Education / Certification Requirements:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
