Position Purpose: Join a growing Procurement Team. This role will report to the manager of Procurement and assist with the full contract lifecycle process for the IT group as well as upkeeping our IT contracts in our database.

Responsibilities

Primary duties will include:

 

  • Managing the full contract lifecycle process for assigned vendors
  • Working closely with internal departments to ensure both new purchases and contract renewals are processed correctly
  • Negotiating contract terms with vendors, including both commercial and contractual terms
  • Reviewing purchase orders and ensuring that they are in line with company policies and procedures
  • Ensuring that all contracts are in line with the budgeted cost for the applicable fiscal year
  • Analyzing costs and recommending ways to reduce expenses by identifying opportunities for process improvement or technology enhancement
  • Preparing reports on expenditures and analyzing trends in spending to identify areas of potential waste or abuse
  • Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers who can meet the company’s needs
  • Recommending new suppliers and negotiating supplier contracts to ensure that all terms are met
  • Suggesting improvements for procurement-related processes and policies

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a global fintech company
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow or similar procurement software.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment with a high sense of urgency

Working environment: 

  • Hybrid (2 days from home, 3 days from the office); our Cracow office will be moved to St. Mogilska 35 in May, 2024
