Position Purpose: We are looking for an individual with previous experience leading technical teams responsible for building client facing websites to join our Websites Development team as the team Manager.  The Websites Development team is responsible for the client facing marketing websites. You will be working as part of a scrum team, focused on high quality deliverables to meet the requirements for the various business units within the company.  There is a strong focus on SEO and overall website performance, and ensuring the team has the right individuals and technologies to achieve this. 

 

Technology Ecosystem:

  • Front-End: HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, TypeScript, CSS/SASS, SCSS/LESS 
  • Back End: C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core
  • Architect: Microservices Architecture, hexagonal, monolithic Architecture
  • Cloud: Azure

Responsibilities

Primary duties will include: 

 

  • Directly manage a team of Sitecore Software Engineers and QA Engineers across multiple locations and sprint teams.
  • Work closely with the marketing teams to plan and prepare roadmap and capacity plans. 
  • Work with team leads to ensure that the team is properly staffed for capacity needs as well as skillset needs. 
  • Work with Project Managers to track and provide updates against strategic plans. 
  • Work with Busines Analysts to ensure there is a healthly pipeline of work for the team. 
  • Work with the team to: 
  • Facilitate solution planning for strategic projects 
  • Continually review code base and ensure it remains high quality, and aligns with best practices. 
  • Review technologies currently in use and if new technologies are needed to facilitate business needs and ensure the solutions remain future proof. 
  • Continually review and evaluate SEO and CoreWebVitals performance and ensure changes are continually improving these areas. 

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

  •  3-5 years of Full Stack .Net web application development 
  • C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core
  • HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, TypeScript, CSS/SASS, SCSS/LESS 
  • Git (Bitbucket) 
  • TeamCity, Powershell
  • 2-3 years of leading or managing technology teams

What makes you stand out:  

  • Previous commercial experience reviewing and improving SEO performance 
  • Previous commercial experience reviewing and improving CoreWebVital performance 
  • Azure (AppService Development & DevOps) experience 
  • Sitecore Managed Cloud experience 
  • Sitecore 9 & Sitecore 10 experience 
  • Experience in an Agile environment and Scrum methodologies 

Working environment: 

  • Hybrid (2 days from home, 3 days from the office); our Cracow office will be moved to St. Mogilska 35 in May, 2024
